Davidson Writing Services exists as a tribute to the many people who have encouraged me in my writing and editing endeavours. It is my turn to encourage others publicly. I have always tried to give positive and constructive feedback to people who share their writing with me..
My mentor and friend, Bernice Lever (colourofwords.com) has helped me in many ways including my writing. She has published almost a dozen books of poetry, many articles and lessons and a learning tool: the Colour of Words Workbook and Answer Guide for people who are struggling to learn the finer points of the English language.
Members of the Ladysmith Writers’ Circle have helped me to recognize and correct problems in my own writing. We published a book in 2006, Lines on the 49th Parallel. It has stories and poetry from all the members. Editing our work for this project helped us as we learned about the publishing process. That project encouraged us.
I hope information on these pages will encourage readers to begin or continue their writing efforts. May you all enjoy the process!
